Yarra trams have advised that route 59 trams will be replaced by buses between the Children's Hospital and the terminus tonight and tomorrow night.

The reason is: "... essential renewal works at Essendon Tram Depot in Mt Alexander Road"

It looks like the points at the north end of the depot have failed and will be repaired overnight.
