Nobody taking me up on the quiz? OK no prizes. First, the ferries served by
the former Sydney tramway system that would be commonly overlooked by tram
enthusiasts. On Botany Bay, the La Perouse tram served the former Kurnell
ferry (to be reinstated in the near future apparently). Over at
Brighton-le-Sands, the tram from Kogarah served a ferry that connected
various points on Botany Bay. On Port Hacking, the Cronulla tram line
served the Cronulla-Bundeena ferry which is still operating.
Reversing back through the other question, current Federal Liberal
electorates, we have the Cronulla-Bundeena ferry, the Brooklyn ferry to
Dangar Island and Little Wobby, the ferry at Berowra Waters and the
cross-river ferries at Wisemans Ferry, Webbs Creek, Lower Portland and
Sackville.
