The missing link is such a no brainer. Water mains have recently been
replaced in that section of the Park Street, and it is marked out for a
separated bike lane, removing a theoretical car lane, but practically it is
already one lane for cars. A tram line would just be a short length of
straight track, a set of points at Park and Kingsway and Park and Clarendon
for the right hand turn and then the 5 could go on to...Fishermans Bend?
