Central Bus Garage was built on the site of the MT&O Co workshops in Nicholson St North Fitzroy.

The North Fitzroy tram depot was built in a corner of the site for the Bourke St tramways in the mid 1950s.

The attached pic shows it in 2008, the last time it was briefly in use as an operational tram depot.

The site is still the major inner city bus depot for buses.
