Surprises never cease - funny how that “incompatible” tram got so far off its own patch.
On the Wednesday before xmas I endured the bus replacement to get to the city. All the CAFs I spotted parked at Lilyfield and the Ultimo depot had the outer panels above the wheelsets off, exposing the box structures enclosing the wheels for inspection and repair.
Maybe 2118 and other cars are being moved to Randwick to free up space at Ultimo and Lilyfield.
