MV Baragoola

Sydney lost one of its largest transport heritage items last night when the
last of the Australian-built PJMS Manly steamers (latterly a
diesel-electric boat) sank in Balls Head Bay. She was an ongoing
preservation project for a private group, but was basically shot and that
fact caught up with her. She was a century old. Groups preserving historic
road and rail vehicles need to be grateful that at least they have terra
firma under them!
