Maybe if Stokes went down to his local shopping mall, sat on Santa’s knee, asked nicely and said he’d been a good boy, he might get some proper bogie trams.

That’s about the only chance at the moment I reckon.

Easy peasy - they sued the shit out of them in court, and won.

Of course the French legal process is inquisitorial, not adversarial, so that might have helped. Facts matter there, apparently.

CAF has to pick up the the tab for the entire fix, and the operator is also annoyed, to say the least, that when they bought the cars they were told they could be stretched to five sections if required in the future, when that was requested they were told it couldn’t be done after all.

With that sort of buyer’s regret, I don’t think they’ll be getting any more, somehow.
