Geelong #2 is a magnificent and world class restoration; the COTMA award to Warrington Cameron was so well deserved. Geelong #2 ran in convoy with W2 407 from Haddon; itself an excellent restoration to the condition that many of us oldies remember in the service of our beloved MMTB.

The new museum complex at Ballarat is simply amazing and a credit to all involved. The building is large and is about to be fitted out. When finished and open to the general public, it will set the highest standards for the transport tourist and heritage sector throughout Australia and perhaps around the world.
