Rail Tourist Association tour
  espee8800

The RTA despite being a rail orientated organisation often had a day on the
trams and 18 December 1984 was no exception. Here are a few shots from
that day. Y469 was the car for the daytime part but after dark we needed a
car with the additional lights to meet regulations so at Camberwell Depot
we transferred to X2 676.

Now my photo folder for these is dated 18/12/1984 which is a Tuesday;
rather an odd day for a day/night tram tour. So I checked the RTA list of
tours and it said this tour was 18/12/1984. I even checked the 1984
calendar and that proved that the 18th was a Tuesday. A mystery that
perhaps someone who has better records of these tours can solve?
