Proposed planning controls for Oxford Street
https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-i/

Oxford Street and its surrounding area has long been appreciated as a creative and cultural precinct locally and internationally. We’re proposing planning changes to bring life back to Oxford Street and secure its creative and cultural future.

The Oxford Street cultural and creative precinct sits between Hyde Park in Darlinghurst and Greens Road in Paddington.

We’re also asking for feedback on increased heights for buildings facing Taylor Square https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-d/.

View the proposed changes and have your say by Friday 5 November.

Proposed plans of management for Crown lands
https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-n/

We manage 48 Crown land reserves including Hyde Park, Wentworth Park, Victoria Park, Martin Place and many smaller areas. These are special places that help connect our communities and keep our city green.

We’ve developed proposed plans of management to ensure we look after Crown land reserves based on community, environmental and heritage needs.

Have your say and complete an online survey by Wednesday 3 November.

New pedestrian space on George Street
https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-m/

We’ve opened the first section of a pedestrian boulevard on the south part of the George Street, creating wider footpaths for walking and new spaces for outdoor dining.

The new pedestrian zone on George Street is now open between Bathurst and Goulburn streets. It’s the first step in a $43.5 million construction project.

People in this section can cross the light rail tracks freely with footpaths flush against the tracks. Remember to look out for the light rail – it can be very quiet and can’t stop quickly or easily.

A cycleway for King Street
https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-a/

Have your say on a new cycling connection on King Street, Sydney, connecting Pitt Street and Queens Square. The cycleway is a part of our program to make Sydney a safer place for people to walk and ride and provide more options for people to travel around the city.

More automatic public toilets across our local area
https://cityofsydney.cmail19.com/t/j-l-fuuddz-ujjjndyt-v/

A lack of public toilets can greatly impact people such as families with children, older people, people with disability and people with medical conditions.

Public toilets in entertainment precincts are especially in demand during the evenings when most other toilets are closed.

To meet this need, additional automatic public toilets are proposed across our area, including central Sydney, village centres and major neighbourhood parks that have large playgrounds and outdoor recreation facilities.

Locations were identified in the public toilet strategy or have been included in response to community requests in areas of high demand.

Development applications for the new toilet locations have been lodged and will soon be open for public comment. You can provide your feedback during the exhibition period.
