I had my first PT ride in a while today.

Melbourne PT vehicles now have individual QR codes and passengers are asked to check in for each ride.

My phone app tells me that the QR code pictured is for New Preston Depot tram 6068.

When I arrived in the city I found that Elizabeth St was devoid of trams.

Police had requested they be diverted and route 57 and 59 were running down William St.  Route 19 was terminating at Brunswick Rd.

I caught a 59 at the corner of Victoria St and Peel St to get home.  The pic shows a diverted '59a' and a police car preventing access to Victoria St at the Peel St intersection.
