Today marks the 50th anniversary of the closure of the SEC Tramways in Ballarat.

It also marks 50 years of tram preservation in Ballarat.

The enthusiasts of the time would be amazed to see what has been achieved over the last 50 years - including the fleet pictured in the attachment.

Some of the original team are still active.
