The NZ TV channels, especially One News, have been great for showing trams
behind the reporters' "live crosses" from Australia, particularly Sydney.
The news over here now often shows the reporter giving us the daily NSW
Covid horrors while standing in George St as trams go back and forth in the
background -- reporters usually used to go to Circular Quay so to have
the bridge or the Opera House as "identifying Sydney" backgrounds.

Melbourne reports invariably have trams in them as trams and Flinders St
Station (often both in the same view) are the standard background for
"identifying Melbourne". They also often show Es in the Bourke St Mall.
