Funny, I always thought E classes were "Next Generation Trams"?

Squeaky clean and brand new E1.6011 on delivery was never a "Next Generation Tram" (photographed on 29-Aug-2014:)

I don't have a photo of any E class above 6010 with the "Next Generation Tram" declaration so I guess the next ninety were just current generation (though "Made in Melbourne for Melbourne" but with European-style destination signs - that's what you get with a French CEO).

Seven years - I guess they figure the public has forgotten and they could (and have) recycle the "Next Generation Tram" moniker for the F class.
