I gave this some thought.

This is the point where the E's from Southbank will join and leave route 58.

So the curves from N to W will be in much more regular use than they
have been in the past.

I would assume that E's may also reverse in the Peel St siding if they
are entering or leaving the Toorak end of the route from Southbank.
