Re: Dinner at the Mail Exchange?
  Trolleybase

Hello Gentlemen, I intended to join my fellow TDUers on Thursday evening
past, but on finding the intended said establishment "closed" at 1815 hrs,
I sadly did not check out the venue diagonally opposite, and instead went
to check the Network Bar at Southern Cross instead. (sorry, Spencer St.
Stn) On finding nobody from TDU there, I caught the next Pass home.
Not wanting to be too demanding, but a message on the newsgroup at that
time could have directed me to the right place. I caught an 1850 ish train,
and it now appears there was nothing on the newsgroup until the next day!

A quick post by anyone could have directed myself or may-be others to the
replacement venue. I do not want to dwell on this oversight by whoever may
have had the chance to do this anymore than needed, it is past and and of
no point now.

However, on a positive note, what is of more interest is that you (TDUers)
may have found a new venue that meets our needs quite close to Spencer St
Stn; well done. At some point please confirm this new location and we can
all enjoy a good chat, a meal and drinks.
Looking forward to some future gathering at the new venue.
Cheers, Phil
