One of the more substantial pieces of evidence along "Pipeline Track" was a huge stop valve and associated structure designed to protect it from any impact.

The stop valve was removed during the renewal of the pipeline not long ago, but the structure remains.

It sits at the original junction of the FN&PTT tramways to East and West Preston at Miller St.
