He had a hip replacement on Sunday, and rehab has started.

I spoke to him on the phone in hospital last night. He was in good
spirits.

I think it will be a long road, especially considering his balance
problem."

As others have said, we are all in debt to Bob for many years of recording tramway history in Trolley Wire and I'm sure we wish him the best as he recovers.
