Re: Re: Death of Shane Moore
  Roderick Smith

Hi all,
I am pleased to have played a part, but the real work was done by Ian Smith
(our man on the spot, and the second eulogist).
Had we known of the death of Bob Sanders, we may have selected Monday, but
that may not have been a possibility.
There are rules about how long a body may be kept before the cremation: go
overtime, and embalming is a requirement, at extra cost.
I am a live-audience person: classroom, lecture theatre, live stage. I am
not a tv person, but had to be aware that there were more online than at
the parlour.
It has been very pleasing to see the messages (here and direct email) from
those who were part of the audience.
The parlour did more than livestream: it is on the web for viewing at any
time, but I don't know yet for how long.

pick up at 3.30 or 4.30 (for hard-core gunzels)
and go to 20.00 for the end of the three eulogy/photos components, or go to
the end.
Our later wake was also enjoyable, but not filmed. Our conversation ranged
over many interesting topics.
