Buses replace trains on sections of the Upfield line until the last train of Sun 15 Nov (level-crossing works at Coburg and Moreland).
Mernda/Hurstbridge/Lilydale/Belgrave/Alamein/Glen Waverley lines: All trains run direct to/from Flinders St all day (maintenance works).  From loop stations, take a train from pfm 3 to Flinders St.
Buses replace trains Blackburn - Lilydale/Belgrave until the last train (level-crossing and maintenance works).
16.22 Buses replace trains Broadmeadows — Craigieburn (a train blocking tracks near Broadmeadows). Buses have been ordered, but may take over 1 hour to arrive. Consider alternatives.
- 16.29 Trains are currently suspended between Melbourne and Seymour and Shepparton in both directions (a train fault at Broadmeadows).
- 16.50 Buses have begun operation, with more enroute. Journey time extended by ~35 min.

Business case for underground station another waste of money.  It is a waste of money to pay millions for a business case examining the proposed underground bus station.
The ACT government ignored the business case for rapid transit to Gungahlin and chose the doubly expensive, less frequent, less seats, less stops and much slower option of light rail.
The interchange would be just north of Vernon Circle.
Perth could afford an underground bus station after rejecting three light rail routes as too expensive.
Pity Canberra didn't stick to its buses, which can now be made 100 per cent electric and thus meet the Greens' main argument for light rail.
