This picture was taken on Seaview Road, Henley Beach, looking westward out to sea. The MTT-built bandstand is visible at left. Some of the sea in the background has been “whited out” to enhance the portrait. There are other portraits of the same car, possible taken about the same time – see attached. The picture would have been taken when newly built in 1922. Note the long overhand of the trolley poles – the trolley towers were later moved back to reduce the overhang. There was only single barrier rails lowered on the offside, later increased to two. No side destination boxes were fitted.
