I have to admit that I did go to Melbourne for the Grand Final in the early
90s a few times. Spent the entire day along Batman Ave and Flinders Street
photographing the unusual workings, cars in Simpson St, layovers of Ws at
Kew Depot etc. Alan Jungwirth put me onto the use of Ws from Malvern on
Batman Ave services, I started my day at Glenferrie & Riversdale Rds corner
to catch the Malvern Ws coming into service. Can't post any at the moment
as my desk PC is having a hissy fit and my PC repair shop is in Wantirna
South; i.e. off limits to me.
