I think the hedge in the right background is St Mary’s Church in Dandenong Road with Christian Brothers College next door behind the tram. The car crossing the tram tracks to the left may be at Westbury Street and The Avenue. Geoff

I think more likely to be Dandenong Road, given the tram lines in the median. St Kilda Road has a different layout.
