A couple of times I split the points but heard the points go over and
stopped in time and was able to back up and start again, when I say back up
I did change ends having learned that lesson very early on when I pulled
the key back and tapped the car behind. Fortunately the only repercussion
was getting a bollocking from the bloke behind me, I still shudder when I
think of what might have happened. The Brunswick driver taught me a very
valuable lesson but made no report.
