The video shows some current work but gives no understanding of the context
or project within which the work is underway. Central walk is a wide
pedestrian walkway that will go underneath Central Station (and over the
metro platforms) all the way from Chalmers St to Railway Square, accessing
all the platforms on the way. It will be possible to walk onto the tram
stop at the eastern end and the Railway Square bus stop at the western end
without crossing any roads. The Devonshire St tunnel will remain but it
crosses further south and doesn't have direct access to the train platforms.
