There are some obstacles to living at Cape Grim….
It’s within a property called ‘Woolnorth’ that’s owned by the Van Diemen’s Land Company. There’s no access other than for:
* Staff of the VDL Co
* The tourist operator who took you and your wife to Cape Grim
* Staff of whichever organisition attends the air-monitoring station
* The company who operates and maintains the extensive wind-farm
* Whoever has the contract to extend the wind-farm
The gate is locked full-time and it’s a long way to Smithton to do the shopping.
