There are some obstacles to living at Cape Grim….

It’s within a property called ‘Woolnorth’ that’s owned by the Van Diemen’s Land Company. There’s no access other than for:

* Staff of the VDL Co
* The tourist operator who took you and your wife to Cape Grim
* Staff of whichever organisition attends the air-monitoring station
* The company who operates and maintains the extensive wind-farm
* Whoever has the contract to extend the wind-farm

The gate is locked full-time and it’s a long way to Smithton to do the shopping.

Otherwise, good luck with it!

My wife fell in love with Cape Grim when we visited there. She wanted to move there!
