Hobart certainly had a wide variety of tram types - and many rebuilds.

42 was built in 1920 using parts from the only bogie double decker,
which had been imported from England and was scrapped in 1920.

42 was unique.

Mal Rowe - who thinks that the Hobart engineer(s) must have been pretty
innovative.
