The general consensus among transport professionals is that there was
nothing fundamentally wrong with the reforms per se (he was trying to
emulate what was achieved in Perth, which is the best bus system in
Australia) but he tried to rush it and not "sell" it well beforehand.
People, being inherently conservative, reacted to that. A pity for
Adelaide's transit. Two reviews:
