Taken August last year. It had been 22 years to the day 2107 was 'signed over to the operator' - so we called the sign over date it's 'birthday' and held a birthday party for it!.

For a while there it looked like the Variotrams would be last domestically produced tram in Australia. Fortunately the E class program broke the drought. I hope the E don't turn out to be the last domestically produced tram.

China and India are busy wiping out our own manufacturing capabilities.
