Lots of old Melbourne images has prompted me to post this picture of a more contemporary museum scene from another state. To 'bring balance to the proceedings' :-)

This isn't my photo, it was taken by a museum colleague. (Who is fine with me posting this picture on TDU). I didn't get much in the way of photos of my own as I was the one at the controls.

This was taken last Saturday (27th June 2020). It was out so we could test the regenerative brake voltages and traction currents as part of the long process to ready the car for 'traffic' duties.

It's not the most power hungry car at the museum despite it's size. The 3 phase traction drive is extremely efficient.
