Just a long single track stub, half of it unusable for shunting.

On the pole on the left it looks a lot like an old track phone. I forget if it opened when I tried last time. Some still have its colour wall phone inside, out of use of course.

What you may not know is that they were standard Telecom phones. Some trammie at Port Melbourne caused a stir by using the phone there to make a call overseas, maybe more than once. I think I made a short STD call from one once, but certainly did not make a habit of it.
