I last saw the tram at Randwick workshops around 1961.

As with O class 805 and C class 11, 1738 had been perfectly painted up and I would be very surprised if all three were not in running order.

Certainly 805 has proved to be perfectly operational and there is no reason why the other two would be devoid of anything necessary for them to run again.

So contrary to other postulations, it most definitely was much better than the condition it last ran in service!
