The photographer (whoever he may be) possibly visited Hobart in 1958 to capture the West Hobart route before it was converted to trolleybuses? After that, the only trams remaining were the Elizabeth Street services to Glenorchy and Springfield?

Readers may be interested to know that one of Tasmania’s most prolific tram photographers, Ian Cooper, is not travelling well in his senior years.

I never saw a tram in service in Tasmania but rode and photographed trolleybuses in 1967 and 1968.
