The H crossing at William and Collins went into service yesterday morning.  Attached pic shows it in use today.  The H crossing and a bit over 100m of track south of the crossing and into Flinders Lane were replaced in 4 days.

Second photo shows the removal of the next H crossing at the corner of Bourke St and William St. You can clearly see the wide track centres that Hugh mentioned in his post from Sunday 24th. The crossing does not look particularly worn out - it's just not the right size.
