"Australia's number one tourist destination"? I think NSW might have
something to say about that by a very large statistical margin. Even the
regional destinations of NSW north and south coasts beat the pants off Gold
Coast by a sizable amount. Australia's tackiest tourist destination - now
you'd be talking Tom! If you go by tram patronage, then Sydney's inner west
suburbs obviously have something magic that Gold Coast doesn't ;)
