I've referenced Patton's "The Development of the Modern Tram" and Dunn's
Comeng history and both refer to it by this name from the beginning. An
article about the tram in Transit Australia in 1994 cites ABB publicity
which uses this name. It makes sense that they had a marketing name for it
in order to help sell it.
