They don't make like they used to. 134s went through deeper than that and
didn't miss a beat.

Subject: [TramsDownUnder] IWLR suspended due to flooding in Hay St. Again
(17th June 2019)

Walking past today I noticed the scrolling signs saying 'Services
starting at Convention due to flooding at Capitol Square'. The sign was
being ignored by a number of people waiting for non existent services.

The water level may have been higher earlier - when I was there it had
stopped raining.

The Urbos 3 trams are afraid of getting their feet wet. One of the cars
has been out of service for many months due to damage incurred by
driving it through 10cm deep water. So they (the operator, Transdev)
will be quite paranoid as they can't afford to loose another car.
