I just noticed another difference from the current scene.

The drivers cap is visible through the cab window - hanging on the
sliding door operating lever.

That's presumably because it was a hot January day and the driver was
leaving the doors open to get some air into the tram.

Mal Rowe - who was able to travel in an open doorway tram with minimal
danger.
