Well, know how I posted photos of two different types - one with bridging
horns that made them non-breaking and others that were breaking.

Well, the breaking SIs have acquired outriggers that make them the
non-breaking type. It would appear they left part off to increase the
air-gap between the live sections and the worksite. There is still an
air-gap in the rails on the city side of Charmers Street station.

I also spotted someone using a small battery jack-hammer and pressure
cleaner to clear muck out of the groove.
