Re: Upfield Light Rail

This railway line is set for a complete makeover with Seymour trains being
diverted along it allowing the Craigieburn trains free reign on "their"
line. With a 20' headway of sparks, it would improve the Seymour train
running no end but even if the Upfield sparks went to 15' headway, then the
Seymour's would still benefit. However I have heard that they wish to add
two more tracks to the rail corridor for the Seymour trains. Something I
don't think they need to do unless they are going to convert the NE to
complete standard gauge, and that is unlikely seeing they are currently
spending vast amounts of money resleepering the Seymour line with BG only
concrete sleepers. Nuts!!!!
