Some windows were broken by the flailing overhead contact and catenary
wires, however mobile phone footage on social media shows some passengers
smashing windows - in a failed attempt to exit the train, as they could not
make a hole through. Another passenger was seen operating the emergency
lever to release the doors (upon his own volition), and then looking like a
stunned mullet when the doors didn't magically open by themselves !
