Dave,

As you say, the great old boss, but also the most important of them. I mean, re-introducing the trams to Bourke Street was a great achievement, but to then keep the network going amidst all the opposition was a tremendous success.
One wonders whether Brisbane would have survived had Risson stayed up there, instead of moving down south, or did he have inside knowledge of "busing" plans, which made him decide to move! Has no one done a research project on this subject? You'd think some one would!
