At least Canberra is chucking in something for the Metro project.

The very similar Cross River Rail in Brisbane is getting absolutely nothing!

Why? Because Queensland refuses to be blackmailed into conservative dogma of privatising and selling government assets. And which of those two states has the more stable power supply?
