I carefully watched the driver's head in your video Matthew for any signs
of noddy-wobble but she was pretty stable. The yaw dampers are in good
condition for now....

Looking at those crowds of standees and many shots (including Tim's here)
of CAF's marvellous power bogie stuff-up and the four missing seats and
eight pairs of feet blocking the aisle at the ends of the trams, I wonder
how, not only the manufacturer, but heaps of purchasers around the world of
this marvel of modern Spanish manufacturing seemingly fail to notice, or
understand the significance of this design deficiency. This tram design has
even won an LRTA award ffs! It seems to me a depressing sign, both of how
low expectations and standards have sunk and how price has come to dominate
the selection scoring in tenders, to the virtual exclusion of any practical
matter relating to the vehicle's fitness for purpose.
