That lady is confused - light rail, tram, station .................... I
suppose they will eventually get the idea that it IS a tram and it stops at
tram stops. At least she sounds positive and working for the Canberra
Times, she should be able to push this. Of course it will succeed
hugely as all of these lines have done, way beyond the naysayers fears of
"no demand".

My idea of light rail is actually American interurban, the rest are just
trams; some in the street and some on their own right of way.

Me too, the best low floor car I have seen (not been OS beyond NZ) was the
Oporto car we had a lend of in Melbourne, just a mass of seats and space.
