Marking 50 years since Brisbane trams ceased

On Saturday 13th April Brisbane Tramway Museum at Ferny Grove will mark 50
years since the running of the last tram in Brisbane streets. Details of
the event to be held at the Museum are yet to be confirmed, however the
definites are that they will be open to the public from 1pm until a final
"re-enactment" of 554's last run at 8pm.
During the afternoon the Deputy Mayor and Museum Patron Adrian Schrinner
will officially launch restored prototype FM 400 back into service.

The museum will also be open on as normal on Sunday the 14th.
