Unfortunately Helensvale to Coolangatta is only around 50km so we will have to annex
nearly 20km of NSW to surpass the Kusttram :-(

With a southern extension as far as Tweed Heads it’ll start resembling the Kusttram in Belgium, and if it’s stretched to longer than 68km it’ll beat the Kusttram as the “world’s longest tramway”.
