Sounds right.
However, all the illuminated trams have the arches. I say “have” because most are still at Newport. One is at Bendigo where it became their cafe tram.
Mal Rowe - who noticed at Newport last week that some trams had 3 lamps between to fluoros and some 2 ( trivia alert!)

Was 1024 the only tram to have the inverted arches over the windows?
According to Vicsig, March 1967, W7 1024 was advertising Wales Bank. Timeline seemd right?

670402Su to 09Su: Bourke St at Spencer St. An unidentified tram advertising the 150th anniversary of Bank of NSW; Carlyons Hotel; the 1962 Melbourne Spencer St station building; assorted cars. (Roderick Smith).
The tram was described as a W7 on the front cover of July 1967 'ET', when it was on a route 64 service. That would have been a rare working of a W7 away from Bourke St in that era.
