To add to all the pedantry flying around, I suggest that the meaning of the
word "open" has been stretched a bit far here. If it isn't in regular
service, nor carrying passengers, it isn't open.
Of course, if it merely took a politician to declare something open,
regardless of whether it actually functions, then Gladys can proudly
declare the CSLER Open! Any takers?
