Nice set of Photo’s Andrew
Funnily enough I was in Stramit today with them trying desperately to get their hands inside my pocket, alas for them. They’ve obviously been around for a while.
Thank you
William

Subject: [TramsDownUnder] Re: Down by the Yarra.
Hi all. Here's a few happy snaps taken in 1973 of some electric transport action near Melbourne's Yarra River. They were all taken on 16-11-1973.
06121--Down St. Kilda Doggie and Tait set on the Yarra River Bridge. The Doggie motor units are 142 M and 57 M.
06123--W2 244 enters Swanston Street from Batman Avenue terminus.
06124--W2 484 at Batman Avenue terminus on a run to Prahran.
06125--Side view of W2 498 City bound on Princes Bridge.
Cheers,
Andrew Cook (electric traction admirer; especially the old stuff).
